Lockwood placed 3rd PBR event dedicated to fallen bull rider Mason Lowe. In Denver Mason Lowe was coming out of the shoot on a bull weighing around 1,700 lbs and was thrown off. In the mist of trying to get up he was stomped. Lowe was taken to the hospital and later died due to his injury. Trying to find something proximal, timely, prominent, in my proximity, and has consequence is kinda difficult. However, growing up around Forsyth and running into the Lockwoods at track meets and what not helps a lot when I see Jess Lockwoods name in the news. In Denver Lockwood scored an 89.5 on a Bull named Hooky and then 86 on Skin and Bones. Lockwood was bucked off in 2.12 seconds by Smooth Wreck in his championship round picked up 105 world points with an earning of $9,960.26. That is a lot of money to make in a single night. With this kind of money comes with risks liked above.
